All classes and institute events will take place at the Tradewinds Island Grand
St. Pete Beach, Florida,
located on the Gulf of Mexico on the west coast
of Florida.
To assure accommodation availability, reservations
must be received by the cutoff date of January
22, 2010.
After that date, reservations will be accepted on
a space available basis. Please
make reservations before the cutoff date!
To reserve a room at the TradeWinds Island Grand, call 800-808-9833 and ask for the group name of UNC OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH WINTER INSTITUTE to receive the group rate of $159.00, single or double occupancy. Room rates are subject to tax.
A number of government rooms will be available at at the current federal per diem rate at the TradeWinds Sandpiper Resort adjacent to TradeWinds Island Grand to those with appropriate government identification. To make a reservation at the TradeWinds Sandpiper Resort or for additional information, please call TradeWinds Island Grand at 800-808-9833 and ask for the group name of UNC OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH WINTER INSTITUTE.
A first night's room deposit in the form of a check, credit card or money order made payable to the TradeWinds Resorts is requested. Reservations cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival date will be refunded.
Guest check-in time is 4:00 pm and check out is 12:00 noon.
Self-parking is complimentary for Winter Institute participants staying at the TradeWinds Island Grand. There is a fee of $8 per day for self-parking at the TradeWinds Sandpiper Resort. For non-overnight guests, self-parking will be $8 per day.
Dress is casual but tasteful. Bring
a jacket or sweater since meeting rooms
may be cool. PLEASE,
NO cell phones, pagers, or beepers turned on in
meeting rooms.
