  • OSHA Compliance Officer, North Carolina OSHA, Raleigh, NC, 1990-1993. Primary duties center around the monitoring of manufacturing and construction sites to ensure conformity with enacted standards.
  • Loss Control Consultant, Gallagher Basset Associates, Chicago, IL, 1988-1990
  • District Safety Manager, Department of Transportation, Chicago, IL, 1983-1988. Implemented and managed safety program for the Chicago District which had 4000 employees and many contractors (heavily unionized). Oversaw the activities of multiple construction contractors and direct employees performing construction and maintenance activities on district highways and structures.
