Experience

William M. Medford has over 35 years of experience in the protective coating industry.  He specializes in protective coating related design, forensic investigation and quality assurance/quality control. He has extensive knowledge of the coatings industry especially in the transportation sector as he spent 30 years with North Carolina DOT performing multiple roles relating to bridge coatings.  His understanding of coating systems and their specific characteristics allows him to work in concert with Transportation Agencies, Engineers and Contractors.
 
Mr. Medford has performed numerous technical audits of certified painting contractors for the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) and is an SSPC instructor for multiple courses.
