2 1/2 day course prepares students to evaluate the relationships between
exposure to workplace contaminants and workers' health. The course
reviews the main concepts of epidemiology (i.e. surveillance) as they
apply to occupational health. The course will help the students
improve their understanding of health and disease and to apply this
knowledge to better control and prevent health problems in the workplace
and promote positive work practices.

and interpretation of health data;
- Review investigation of acute or long-term
health problems;

of disease risk.
