EPA
approved AHERA course to maintain certification as a
building inspector for asbestos. Materials will be presented
as a review of the initial course as well as new developments.
This
course is an EPA-approved course and is approved by
the State of North Carolina. If you are involved
in asbestos abatement outside North Carolina, please
check with that state to verify this University of North
Carolina course will be accepted in that state.

- Review of Initial Inspector Course
- Inspector Examination (Entire class will
take the Inspector Exam at noon)
Examination Information
A closed book
examination of 25 multiple choice questions will
be given. Passing the exam is required
in North Carolina to renew accreditation. After
exams are graded, you will receive a pass/fail letter with instructions
for renewal of accreditation in North Carolina, Virginia, and South
Carolina. Refresher course attendance alone does not constitute
accreditation renewal.
