Mission
To train students to become the
occupational safety and ergonomics practitioners of the future
while conducting scholarly research in the areas of occupational
biomechanics, occupational safety and cognitive ergonomics.
The program, located in the Department of Industrial Engineering
at North Carolina State University, considers all aspects
of safety and ergonomics, including occupational safety,
systems safety, cognitive ergonomics, and physical ergonomics,
as well as cross-disciplinary topics, such as industrial
toxicology and epidemiology, that are available through the
NC OSHERC.
